1/12th scale Childs simple jumper (to fit a 4 inch/10 cm doll) This jumper is knitted using W 79 Pale hyacinth (Appletons wool) available from our web shop.
Abbreviations: st-stitch; k-knit; p-purl; sst-stocking stitch [1 row knit, one row purl]; sl 1-slip next stitch from one needle to the other without working it; ( ) -repeat instructions between brackets as shown in text; inc-increase by working twice into next stitch to make 2 stitches.

These can be made as bedsocks or as slippers by adding a cork sole to the base after making up the socks.
Materials required: size 19 needles, ½ skein 1-ply wool, small length thin cord for ties.

This pattern can be used to make a bed sized blanket by increasing the number of pattern stitches in blocks of 4 and knitting more rows until the blanket is the required length. Remember to allow more wool for this! This example is knitted in W 25 pale yellow (DMC wool)
