Pattern for 1:6th scale Flared skirts

To fit a 29-30 cm/11-½ to 12-inch tall doll (including Curvy Barbie)

Ability Level – Intermediate to Experienced (short rows are a vital part of this pattern, these are not difficult but some advanced experience may be useful)

Note: This pattern is designed to use variegated, random or dark plain coloured crochet cotton, lighter colours may be used but the short row workings will be much more obvious.

Materials required:
Size 1.50 mm knitting needles, No 12 or No 10 variegated crochet cotton – 150 metres for knee length skirt, 225 metres for calf length skirt and 300 metres for ankle length skirt. This works best in cotton or a yarn which will drape.

Approximate finished size:
Waist to hem for knee (calf, ankle) length – 4½ (5½,7½) inches,11.25 (13.75,18.75) cm; Circumference at hem for knee (calf, ankle) length – 16 (19, 19) inches, 40 (47.5, 47.5) cm; Width at waist – 2-inches, 5 cm before stretching.

Gauge – worked over stocking stitch: 7 rows and 6 sts = 1 cm
