For experienced knitters. <\/strong>This is not a suitable project for a first attempt at miniature knitting<\/p>\n

Materials required:
\nFor complete layette \u2013<\/strong> 55 yards\/50 metres of 1-ply wool are required. 1 pair size 19 (1.00 mm\/US size 5\/0) knitting needles. (Note for a Heidi Ott baby use size 21 needles)
\nDress – <\/strong>25yards\/22 metres 1-ply wool, small button or bead for neck. Bonnet – <\/strong>13 yards\/12 metres 1-ply wool, small button or bead for neck strap. (Ribbon can be used at neck if preferred see neck strap instructions). Mittens –<\/strong> 13 yards\/12 metres 1-ply wool, ribbon for wrist ties. Bootees – <\/strong>13 yards\/12 metres 1-ply wool, ribbon for ankle ties. Pilch knickers –<\/strong> 13 yards\/12 metres 1-ply wool, ribbon for waist tie.<\/p>\n

Finished size:
\nDress<\/strong>: Approx 1\u00bd-inches\/4 cm tall, \u00be-inches\/2 cm across chest<\/p>\n

Gauge:<\/strong> Gauge is not important as dolls house dolls vary in size<\/p>\n
