The date of the Chinese New Year is not fixed, as it is dependant on the lunar calendar. It can fall on any date between 21st January and 20th February and this year is quite late being on 16th February. Each year is associated with the 12 animal signs of the Chinese zodiac: rat, ox, tiger, rabbit, dragon, snake, horse, goat, monkey, rooster, dog, and pig. This year is the year of the dog.<\/p>\n

Celebrations take place all around the world and for our part we’d like to wish everyone Gong Hey Fat Choy, which translates as congratulations and be prosperous.<\/p>\n
