Materials required: <\/strong>One pair UK size 19\/1.00 mm\/US size 00000 knitting needles for cushions, one pair UK size 16\/1.50 mm\/US size 000 knitting needles for rug, 100 metres No 20 crochet cotton in main colour, 50 metres No 20 crochet cotton in each of two contrast colours NOTE: 1-ply cotton may be substituted for No 20 crochet cotton to give a thinner fabric; small amount of stuffing material or lavender flowers<\/p>\n

\nRug –<\/strong> 7.5 cm\/3-inches x 5.5 cm\/2\u00bc-inches
\nSquare cushion –<\/strong> 3 cm\/1\u00bc-inches square
\nBolster cushion –<\/strong> 4 cm\/1\u00bd-inches long x 1.25 cm\/\u00bd-inch diameter<\/p>\n

\nMeasured over stocking stitch: 11 rows and 9 stitches = 1 cm using smaller needles.<\/p>\n
