This same pattern can be used to make a baby sleeping bag, toddlers dressing gown or dressing gown for a child (not shown in photo). These knitted dressing gowns were popular from the late 1940\u2019s through until the 1960\u2019s.<\/p>\n

Materials required:
\nBaby Sleeping bag or toddlers dressing gown – <\/strong>size 19 (1.00 mm\/US size 00000) knitting needles, (Note: for a Heidi Ott BABY doll use size 21\/0.80 mm knitting needles), 50 metres\/56-yards 1-ply yarn, 8 miniature buttons or beads, stitch holders, optional for dressing gown – thin cord for waist.
\nChilds Dressing Gown – <\/strong>size 18 (1.25 mm\/US size 0000) knitting needles, 50 metres\/56-yards 1-ply yarn, 8 buttons or beads, thin cord for waist.<\/p>\n

Approximate finished sizes:
\nBaby and toddler –<\/strong> 6 cm\/2\u00bd-inches neck to hem, 3 cm\/1\u00bc-inches across chest, sleeve length 2.5 cm\/1-inch
\nChilds dressing gown – <\/strong>7 cm\/2\u00be-inches neck to hem, 4 cm\/1\u00bd-inches across chest, sleeve length 3 cm\/1\u00bc-inches<\/p>\n

Gauge:<\/strong> This is not important as dolls house dolls vary in size<\/p>\n
