Ability Level: <\/strong>Intermediate. This is NOT suitable for a first project in miniature knitting.<\/p>\n

Materials required:
\nHose – <\/strong>size 19 (1.00 mm\/US size 5\/0) knitting needles, 55 yards\/50 metres 1-ply wool.
\nCap –<\/strong> size 19 (1.00 mm\/US size 5\/0) knitting needles, 28 yards\/25 metres 1-ply wool.
\nNote:<\/strong> the cap may be knit for a boy by using size 21 (0.80 mm) knitting needles in place of size 19 (1.00 mm\/US size 5\/0) knitting needles. If required the cap may be felted (as would have been the norm in Tudor times), however you must use a pure wool and remember the felting process will remove any mothproofing added by the manufacturer. The cap will shrink considerably on felting.<\/p>\n

Approximate finished sizes:
\nCap –<\/strong> 1\u00bc-inches\/ 3.5 cm diameter
\nHose –<\/strong> \u00be-inch\/2 cm at thigh, 3-inches\/7.5 cm from toe to thigh, heel to toe \u00be-inch\/2 cm<\/p>\n

Gauge \u2013 <\/strong>Gauge is not important as dolls house dolls vary greatly in size.<\/p>\n
