Ability Level –<\/strong> Experienced. (This is NOT suitable for a first project in miniature knitting.) Colourwork is charted, NOT<\/strong> written out in full<\/p>\n

Materials required<\/strong>
\nOne pair size 19 (1.00 mm) knitting needles for a large size stocking or one pair size 21 (0.80 mm) for a small size stocking (NOTE: the same pattern and yarn is used for both sizes), plus:
\nFor a full set of 2 large and 2 small stockings –<\/strong> 25 metres 1-ply yarn in each of 3 colours
\nNoel stocking (either size):<\/strong> 15 metres 1-ply yarn in main colour, 5 metres 1-py yarn in a contrast colour
\nStriped Name stocking, Rudolph or Christmas trees\/snowflakes stockings (either size):<\/strong> 15 metres 1-ply yarn in main colour, 10 metres 1-py yarn in each of two contrasting colours<\/p>\n

Approximate finished sizes
\nLarge stocking \u2013 <\/strong>top to heel (with top turned down on name stocking) 4 cm\/1\u00bd-inches, foot length 2 cm\/\u00be-inch
\nSmall stocking –<\/strong> top to heel (with top turned down on name stocking) 4 cm\/1\u00bd-inches, foot length 2 cm\/\u00be-inch<\/p>\n
