When knitting across the joining row, to avoid unsightly holes work as shown below:
1. Knit across the stitches of one leg, then take the yarn from the stitches just knitted and hold with the yarn from the first leg, you will be knitting with 2 strands of yarn:
2. Using both strands of yarn knit across two or three stitches:
3. Now drop the shorter length of yarn and continue knitting across the row with the single yarn from Leg 2:
4. Once the next row (purl) has been completed you will not notice that doubled yarn has been used on 2 or 3 stitches of the previous row:
