1:12th scale Chainmail pattern

Materials required:
Leggings:
size 18 (1.2 mm/US 4/0) knitting needles, ½ spool (30 metres) DMC Fil argent mi-fin or other fine single strand metallic thread, thin brown cord to tie leggings at back and to belt.
Hauberk: size 18 (1.2 mm/US 4/0) knitting needles, ¾ (45 metres) spool DMC Fil argent mi-fin or other fine single strand metallic thread (1 spool – 60 metres – will be sufficient for hauberk and coif), stitch holders.
Coif: size 18 (1.2 mm/US 4/0) knitting needles, ¼ spool (15 metres) DMC Fil argent mi-fin or other fine single strand metallic thread.

Other metallic threads which can be substituted in this pattern:
COATS Single strand metallic decorative sewing thread
Madeira 40 single strand metallic machine embroidery thread.

Approximate finished sizes:
Leggings
2-inches/5 cm tall
Coif 1½-inches/4 cm from point at chest to top of head
Hauberk 3-inches/7.5 cm from base to neck
Please note: that until stretched out the knitting will not be these sizes, as it stretches considerably when pulled into shape on a doll

Gauge – Gauge is not important as dolls house dolls vary greatly in size.
