For Experienced Knitters
Not suitable as a first project in miniature knitting as the pattern has many possible variations

Materials required: Size 21 (0.80 mm) knitting needles, fine cable needle, No 80 crochet cotton or No 70 tatting thread (approx ½-¾ of a 5 g ball. Note: the dress will be slightly smaller if knitted with the No 70 tatting thread), 4 small buttons or beads, stitch holders or safety pins, approx 12 inches/30 cm very narrow ribbon for sailor collar version and optional necktie on collared version.

Gauge is not important as dolls vary in size.

There are four versions for the dress given in this pattern, which can be mixed and matched according to choice.
The same basic dress pattern is used and may be knitted with or without sleeves, and with a choice of four collar styles-plain round neck, full round collar (popular in the 1920’s and 1930’s), cut away round collar for a ribbon tied at neck and a Sailor style collar (popular in the Edwardian era).

Pattern price £3.75 (NOTE: EU VAT or other digital taxes will be added to price where applicable)
