Materials required: One pair UK size 19/1.00 mm/US size 00000 knitting needles for cushions, one pair UK size 16/1.50 mm/US size 000 knitting needles for rug, 100 metres No 20 crochet cotton in main colour, 50 metres No 20 crochet cotton in each of two contrast colours NOTE: 1-ply cotton may be substituted for No 20 crochet cotton to give a thinner fabric; small amount of stuffing material or lavender flowers

Approximate finished sizes:
Rug –
7.5 cm/3-inches x 5.5 cm/2¼-inches
Square cushion – 3 cm/1¼-inches square
Bolster cushion – 4 cm/1½-inches long x 1.25 cm/½-inch diameter

Gauge
Measured over stocking stitch: 11 rows and 9 stitches = 1 cm using smaller needles.

All instructions are written, but chart for colourwork is included.NOTE: The magazine did not include the chart for colourwork.
