Ability level: Intermediate NOTE: This is NOT suitable for a first attempt at miniature knitting, even if you are an experienced knitter as it is very fiddly to knit.
Materials required: Size 19 (I mm/US size 00000) knitting needles, 3 skeins DMC Coton à Broder Spécial 25 or 100 metes 1-ply cotton, bamboo skewer and glue, plus pins and ruler for fly screen, approx 1 teaspoon rice to fill doorstop.
Finished size: Fly screen – approximately 3-inches/7.5 cm wide, 7-inches/19 cm long. Doorstop – ½-inch/1.25 cm square at base, ¾-inch/2 cm tall.
Gauge – This is not important as doors vary in size, see notes in pattern for adjusting sizes
