one pair 1.50 mm knitting needles; 90 metres No 10 crochet cotton in main colour, plus 7 metres contrast colour, 4 stitch holders or safety pins, 8 x 4mm buttons or beads.
Approximate finished sizes
Across chest: 6 cm/2½-inches; Neck to hem: 8.75 cm/3½-inches; Sleeve seam: 7.5 cm/3-inches
Gauge – Worked over stocking stitch: 6 rows = 1 cm and 5 stitches = 1 cm
