The pattern this year will be an item of clothing for an adult male or female doll The item can be knitted in either 1:12th scale or 1:6th scale. The design will include some cable stitches, but the majority of the design will be more basic knitting.
If you wish to take part you will require either:
Materials required:
1:6th scale – for a male doll: 2.00 mm knitting needles, for a female doll: 1.50 mm needles. Both male and female: cable needle or spare double pointed needle plus 75 metres No 10 or No 12 crochet cotton and 2 stitch holders or safety pins
1:12th scale – for a male doll: UK size 19/1.00 mm/US size 00000 knitting needles, for a female doll: UK size 21/0.80 mm knitting needles. Both male and female: 50 metres 1-ply yarn, plus a cable needle (if you don’t have one see this post), and 2 stitch holders or safety pins
Note: This project is not suitable for a first project in 1:12th scale miniature knitting.
