The free pattern this year will make an item of clothing for an adult male or female doll. The item may be knitted in either 1:12th scale or 1:6th scale. The design will include some simple cable stitches, but the majority of the design will be more basic knitting with optional colour work on the front of the design.
The design this year is NOT suitable for working in 1:24th scale, so no materials list is given.
If you wish to take part you will require either:
Materials required:
1:6th scale: 2 mm needles for male doll or 1.5 mm for female doll, 90 metres 3-ply/light fingering yarn in Main colour, cable needle, 3 stitch holders or safety pins, optional – small amounts red and white 3-ply/light fingering yarn.
1:12h scale: 1.00mm/ UK size 19 needles for male doll or 0.90mm/UK size 20 for female doll, 50 metres 1-ply yarn in Main colour, cable needle, 3 stitch holders or safety pins, optional – small amounts red and white 1-ply yarn.

Note: This project is not suitable for a first project in 1:12th scale miniature knitting.
