Catherine’s latest idea for adapting a pattern designed for a male doll to suit a female doll is simply to use the existing pattern (in this case the 1:12th scale reindeer sweater), but work it in more muted or more feminine colours or simply use a smaller needle size.
Once again Catherine has used UK size 21/0.80 mm knitting needles instead of the UK size 19/1.00 mm/US size 00000 the original pattern calls for in both designs.
