This week in the UK it is National Knitting week (10th-17th October 2010). National Knitting Week was started in 2005 by Knitting magazine and has now become an annual event.
Most knitters do not need an excuse to find time for knitting, but why not use this week to promote the craft or teach a younger member of your family to knit? Help us to keep the skills alive.
