Materials required:
Cot Blanket – Size 22 (0.70 mm/ US size 6/0) knitting needles, ½ x 5g ball No. 80 crochet cotton or Tatting thread No.70, thin ribbon (5 mm) for binding edges (optional).
Bumpers – Size 22 (0.70 mm/ US size 6/0) knitting needles, ½ x 5g ball No. 80 crochet cotton or Tatting thread No.70, small piece of felt for inside of bumpers, very thin ribbon for attaching bumpers to cot.
Cot Cover – Size 22 (0.70 mm/ US size 6/0) knitting needles, ½ x 5g ball No. 80 crochet cotton or Tatting thread No.70 (two contrasting colours may be used if required for the top and underside of the cot cover).
Bonnet – 1 pair size 24 (0.55 mm/US size 8/0) knitting needles ¼ x 5g ball No. 80 crochet cotton or Tatting thread No.70, very thin ribbon for neck ties.
NOTE: 1 x 5g ball No 80 crochet cotton will make all items if wished.
Finished sizes:
Cot Bumpers – ½-inch/1.25 cm tall x 1-inch to 1½-inch (2.5 to 4 cm) long.
Cot Cover – 1½-inch/4 cm by 1¾-inches/4.5 cm approx
Cot Blanket – 2-inches/5 cm square approx
Bonnet – ½-inch/1.25 cm tall approx
Gauge is not important for this project.
