For experienced knitters
This is not a suitable project for a first attempt at miniature knitting

Materials required: 1 pair size 21 (0.80 mm) knitting needles, 28yards/25 metres grey 1-ply wool, plus small amounts of white or ecru wool for tusks and toes, red wool for mouth and black wool for eyes. Small amount of polyester or other suitable stuffing, cotton wool can be used but the elephant would not then be washable.

Finished size: Approx 1¼-inches/3 cm tall, 1¾-inches/4.5 cm long (trunk to tail)

Gauge: Gauge is not important for this project as toys can be any size
