When transferring stitches from a needle to a stitch holder:
1. Insert the stitch holder into the stitch as if to purl it (as shown in the photo
2. Slip the stitch from the needle onto the stitch holder.
3. Repeat until all the stitches are transferred.
Note: If you are using a safety pin, make sure the stitches do not become caught in the overlapping rings at the end of the safety pin.
