Materials required: one pair 2.00 mm knitting needles; 140 metres/152 yards cotton 4-ply yarn; 2 stitch holders or safety pins; plus for high neck dress: 5 x 4mm buttons.
Finished size of dress:
Neck to hem – 19 cm/inches/7-inches; chest – 4 cm/1¾-inches across, sleeve seam – 6.5 cm/2¾-inches
Gauge – worked over stocking stitch: 5 rows = 1 cm and 4 stitches = 1 cm
