Linda has very kindly sent us some photos of her doll Mari wearing her beautiful new horse sweater and a close up of the detail in the sweater.
This was knitted using our 1:12th scale Icelandic sweater with horses pattern.
Linda says:
I made this to fit Mari, Limhwa To You girl. She had her heart set on white horses on a midnight blue sky.
Although it works ok for Mari, I feel it is a little large for her. I could take two horses out of the yoke pattern, and it would be a better fit OR go down in needle size and use a finer lace weight wool.
I love the pattern, and will certainly try it again.
