Materials required for all items: 1 pair size 19 (1.00 mm/US size 5/0) knitting needles, plus
Cardigan – 50 metres/56 yards 1-ply yarn, 4 miniature buttons, 4 small stitch holders or safety pins
Socks – 12 metres/14 yards 1-ply yarn, sewing thread and needle for darning (optional)
Tie – 5 metres/5¼ yards 1-ply yarn, 8 cm/3½-inches of very thin elastic
Finished sizes:
Cardigan – 6 cm/2½-inches neck to hem, 4 cm/1½-inches across chest, sleeve length 7 cm/2¾-inches neck to wrist.
Socks – foot length 2.5 cm/1-inch, 3 cm/1¼-inches top to heel
Tie (when knotted) – 2.5 cm/1-inch long and either 2 mm/⅛-inch wide or 1.25 cm/¼-inch wide
Gauge – This is not important as dolls house dolls vary in size
