As promised earlier this week, here is your free practice pattern, ready for the 2021 Buttercup Miniatures Advent Calendar. To access the pdf pattern click the link at the base of this article. The actual Advent Calendar pattern can be used to make both scale miniature (1:24th, 1:12th scale and 1:6th scale) and human sized items, but will only be available in English, the pattern will be written – no charts.
As usual the item will be loosely linked to Christmas/Winter, but not religious, so everyone can join in. This years theme is Twisted stitches. In order to help people who are not confident knitters we have designed a small pattern which can be made into a Christmas tree decoration or dolls cushion. Although this pattern can be adapted (by changing yarn and needle size) to make a dolls cushion, we would recommend trying the pattern on large needles first to get used to the idea of twisting stitches.
The free* 2021 Advent Calendar, will be published daily on our blog pages from 1st to 24th December. If you don’t want to miss out you can sign up here on our blog for e-mail reminders (enter your e-mail address in box on right and click subscribe). An e-mail will be sent to you whenever a blog post is published, (you can of course unsubscribe at any time).
More details will be published soon.
* The Advent Calendar is only free until 6th January 2022, after which it will be removed from these pages and be available to purchase.
