1:12th scale Paris fashions knitting pattern

To fit a 5½-inch/14 cm tall dolls house doll. Note: The patterns for the dress, jackets and skirts are interchangeable. Originally published in The Dolls House Magazine issue 204

Ability Level – Intermediate (This is NOT suitable for a first project in miniature knitting.)

Materials required:
Size 19 (1.00 mm) knitting needles, PLUS
Dress – 55 yards/50 metres 1-ply yarn.
Belt – 2 yards/1.8 metres contrast colour 1-ply yarn, small buckle
Jacket with contrast trim- 55 yards/50 metres 1-ply yarn in main colour, 10 yards/9.5 metres 1-ply yarn in contrast colour
Skirt – 28 yards/25 metres 1-ply yarn
Long jacket- 55 yards/50 metres 1-ply yarn in main colour, 5 yards/5 metres 1-ply yarn in contrast colour for collar, stitch holder, 4 small buttons or beads, 2 mm ribbon for neck tie.

Approximate finished sizes:
Dress –
3-inches/7.5 cm high, 1¼-inches/3.5 cm across hem
Skirt – 2-inches/5 cm high, 1¼-inches/3.5 cm across hem
Short jacket – 1½-inches/4 cm neck to hem
Long jacket – 2-inches/5 cm neck to hem

Tension (Gauge) – This is not given, as it is not important to the pattern, dolls house dolls like humans vary in size.
