Materials required: 1.50 mm crochet hook, No 12 or No 10 crochet cotton (1 x 50g ball will make 6 jam jar covers), plus small amounts of other colours for fruits, 2-3 mm ribbon, (optional – small amount of washable padding or stuffing material to pad fruit)
Approximate finished size: Jar cover will fit a 2½-inch/6 cm to 3-inch/7.5 cm wide lid, up to ½-inch/1.25 cm deep. Frill measures 1-inch/2.5 cm deep. Fruits are 1-inch/2.5 cm to 1½-inch/4 cm high
Gauge: Rounds 1-2 of jar cover = 1-inch/2.5 cm
